WCU hosts events for Eating Disorders week

Celebrities and supermodels dictate the latest trends, looks and body shape that the population needs to follow in order to "fit in." Some people go to extreme lengths to look thin, such as starving themselves or purging after meals. However, eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia, are not about vanity.

Condom-Candy grams promote safe sex

West Chester University's own Tyson Hall sponsored "Condom- Candy- Grams" for students on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. in the building's lobby. The concept was for students to send free 'grams' to friends to promote safer sex. February is National Condom Month and while most grab a condom before performing the deed, many do not know about the history of the condom.

Walking for a cure

Seventeen walks, one destination: a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS). The Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is looking for enthusiastic individuals to walk, start a team or volunteer to help plan their 20th annual MS Walk at the West Goshen Township Park on Sunday, April 27.
